Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
We currently rent a home and have 5 months left on the lease. We cannot afford to stay there any longer. The only clause that is in the lease is an abandonment clause which states that they can do whatever they want with any possessions left behind and that the landlord may recup any unpaid rent, does that apply if a 30 day notice is given? And at the worst what could be done if we broke the lease?
