Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
i have been renting a house and have recently found out the owner hasn't paid the mortgage since october 2007 . the bank that holds the note doesn't exist any more, and i have also discovered he is doing this with at least ten properties. my question is if i refuse to pay any more rent can he legally evict me ?

Yes, you have to pay the rent as long as you live there or the landlord can evict you.
