Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

We had a photographer come to our house to take photos of our family. My wife signed a document stating that the photographer could use the photos as she wished in exchange for her time and us getting family photos. (I never signed this document and I was in some of the photos). My wife asked the photographer when she could see and when we could pay for the photos we wanted. A couple of months went by and in that time our second daughter was born. The photographer asked for my wife and daughters to be photographed again with the understanding that we would have access to these photos and be able to purchase them. Another couple of months have gone by and after multiple attempts to get an answer as to when we can get some photos the photographer has said she is using the photos for a documentary of sorts that she is working on and will only frame two photos of her choice as payyment for my families time. We have offered to pay for the other photos, but she is refusing to cooperate. My question is can we legally do anything to either get these photos or not allow her to use my families images for her personal gain?

It sounds like nothing is in writing. If so, you have very little leverage here. Next time hire a photographer or get your agreement, which does not seem to be particularly clear here.
