Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Is $2,000 a fair lawyer fee for a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure?

Our short sale was not accepted by the lender (they want $10,000 more than fair market value!) and this seems the only possible step remaining for us to avoid foreclosure. The lawyer who was working with us on the short sale told us her fee for the deed-in-lieu is $2000 and we just want to make sure that is fair.

I just prepared a deed for a client for $300. Are you sure that his charge is just for preparing a deed or is other work involved?
