Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My buyer is all set to purchase a condo at Century Village and the closing is set for August 15. All contingencies have been met and now a condo association member wants to buy it under the right of first refusal which is in the by-laws. What about my buyer who will be out the application fee, inspection fees and now no place to live. Is this legal?

Can be, and you agreed to it when you originally bought the unit.

If you are the seller, review your bylaws. If they had the right of first refusal, it may have been improper for the seller to accept the offer. Consult with an attorney for legal advice.
