Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Change in Terms of Association Master Insurance

I live in Homeowers Association in

Florida. The board members are

compensated here...yes, I know this

is hard to believe...but they do not

pay association maintenance. They

just voted to have the individual

townhome owner pay the full

insurance deductible, which is not in

the master contract. The master

Association policy names the

Association as the policy holder who

will be paid minus the the ductible.

What should I do?

If their action doesn't violate the by-laws, there is nothing you can do.
