Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

my father passed and left his home to my sister in his will. He has 12 other children. No one is trying to take the home from my sister because it was left to her per my fathers will. All of us (12 siblings) received a a letter to sign from her lawyer...Waiver and Joinder to the petition of summary administration ; waiver of Notice of Hearing and Joinder to Petition to Set Property Aside as Homestead. what does this mean and why should we sign? We have found out that she is trying to sell the house.

It means you agree with the distribution despite the fact that the property was homestead amongst other things. If you want notice of the petition and hearings than don't sign and ask for notice.
