Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My father passed away , my two sisters and I are planning to attend service. We all live in separate states and plan to stay at his house, which we all grew up in. His roommate/girlfriend not really sure, has just informed us that we can not stay there. Every time we visit we stay with him. . What are our rights?

Who owns the house? If your Dad owned it alone without anyone else, you probably have a right to go there. If she has lived there with him as her home, she may have some renter's rights for some period of time. If she has paid for the house in any fashion she may have some ownership rights as well. Impossible to give you and definitive answer without more facts.
Simply put- "You have none". If the roommate/girlfriend does not invite you to stay with her there is nothing you can do. Don't waste your emotions, time, or your money on this. Perhaps a will or trust leaves you and your siblings the house- but that is for a later time, if ever.
