Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My friend left his atv at my house and moved to MI. I'm in FL and have told him to come get it plenty of times and he keeps saying when I get the money I will. He was working on it here before he left and then moved without saying anything. It has been at my house for about or over 9 months now. What can I do with it? Second, he was buying it from his friend when I first met him and I'm not sure if he has paid it off yet either but I do not know who his friend is.
