Re: Quit Claim Deeds

Any out of state deed may be notarized by a New York notary public so long as the individual executes the deed before the notary public and produces proof of identity.

Re: Quit Claim Deeds

In New York, there is a form of attestation if the oath is taken out of the state. I suggest calling the county clerk's office in the Florida county in which the property is located and ask if they accept a quit claim deed notarized in New York. You might want to check on the deed itself, as the different places where a notary may sign may have language for an oath taken out of state.
