Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

we refinanced our house and legal the law firm that did all the paperwork messed up and assigned our lien to someone else- now they want us to sign new paperwork correcting the legal description on the mortgage recorded in official records. We have no idea what to do. we called the bank they have no idea as of to why they are asking us to do this... any ideas?

You really need to get the opinion of an attorney and provide them all your paperwork. not sure what legal the law firm means? is that an attorney? if so you should contact them and get an explanation.
