Both landlord and tenant have the same rights. If you don't pay rent, you can be evicted. The tenancy can be terminated pursuant to the lease or Florida law. If the property is foreclosed, the new owner continues as the landlord under the lease and federal legislation requires a certain amount of notice for termination of tenants in foreclosure.
