NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

The Buyer's attorney may offer to prepare documents for you for a fee but will not represent you in the transaction. I strongly recommend that you retain your own attorney so that your interests are fully protected.

All you need to provide is a copy of: 1. the contract; 2. your deed; 3. your owner's title insurance policy; and information regarding your mortgage (if any) and any type of owner's association if it applies. You should cooperate with your attorney in supplying any additional information deemed necessary as the closing progresses.

The buyer's counsel does not represent you. You should retain an attorney who will represent you. Paperwork does not get exchanged till closing. If you need assistance feel free to give me a call 305-534-4757 or at [email protected]
