The developer might be willing to take back the unit with a Quit Claim Deed. You will need to call them up and speak with the company if units are still being sold by them.

If not, I would speak with whomever is managing the building. They may know who might be willing to accept the deed from you. If you are not successful, I would consult a real estate attorney who might have better luck in negotiating this for you for a nominal fee.
