Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida
Ssdi
I (and my doctors) have submitted more than 18 years of documentation of my disability, up until July of '08 when I applied for SSDI. Now, 4 months later, they are asking me to go to ''one of their doctors'' for more recent information. Can they do this, and why would they. Thank you.

Re: Ssdi
They can ask you to see one of their doctors, and you should attend the examination. Sometimes, the doctor hired by Social Security will help your case, and sometimes that doctor will not. But, regardlesss you must attend the examination. If they deny you (and they do deny most cases) then you should contact an attorney who handles these types of cases. I have handled 1000's of cases like your if you think I can be any help.
