Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
In Florida, can another driver sue me after an accident if there were no injuries, and he had insurance, while I didn't? I got a ticket for careless driving in the accident, but there were no injuries and this is a no-fault state, which means he has to fix his car with his own insurance. So if he were to sue me, what would my defense be?

Insurance is irrelevant in this situation. The bottom line is, if you're at fault you're at fault and you can be held responsible. Whether damages to a person or vehicle you could still be held liable. If you had Insurance however your insurance company would have paid for an attorney for you to defend it. In the meantime you can hire a ticket attorney to handle the ticket which might mitigate matters somewhat.
