Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Hit - n - Hide
As of Aug of 06, I was in a car accident. I was rearended. The woman at the time, did not have proof of insurance. For several months, I had my lawyer mail her letters, call her, and yet nothing. For a year now, I've been asking my lawyer about the case; to find out that he quit working on it due to her hiding.
How do I go about getting my money for damages? Am I still entitled to it? Is there a way to have her license suspended until she shows up for court and/or pays me for my damages?
