Traffic Ticket Technicalities

My son received a ticket for using my handicapped placard. He himself is a college student with the office of students with disabilities. I go with him whenever he encounters a stressful situation. this day he was taking finals. I went with him and was on the campus waiting for when he got the ticket. the officer did not believe my son because he didn't know where I was, only somewhere on campus. The officer also did not write a.m or p.m. on the ticket. He also wrote the wrong year of the car also wrong make and color. What do I do to fight this ticket?
