Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My Dad's Will

My Dad passed away in Fort Lauderdale approx. 4 years ago. I was never contacted about the reading or contents of the will. How would I find out if I was entitltled to any of the assets? How do I find out who the attorney was who handled the will? It is a mystery to me that my dad who I had a wonderful relationship with would leave me without any family property or memorabilia. He has a surviving spouse who is in a California retirement center with Alzheimer's disease. Therefore, I cannot get any info out of her that is reliable.

Re: My Dad's Will

Do you know if there was a Will?

Was there a family lawyer?

Who attended to his funeral, etc. and might have had information regarding his personal affairs.

As a child, you would have been, or should have been, notified of any probate proceeding.
