Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Homestead Property of Decedent

My deceased husband's children own one-half of my homestead and I have a life estate.

Where can I find legal answers to what expenses the children are responsible for and if they do not pay, what my options are. They have refused to sell their interest to me at the price I have offered.

Can I get a judgment and foreclose on their one-half?

Re: Homestead Property of Decedent

Since you are living there , you are responsible for upkeep. If you want to sell it, you may bring an action in partition to force a sale or a buy out. Good luck.
