Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My late ex-husband me money from a life insurance policy we had while we were married. Prior to our divorce he began having some mental issues. He named his son power of attorney. they paid the monthly premiums but never changed the beneficiery. Now they want to sue me for the money.
Help!

If they are going to sue you, you need a lawyer to defend you in court.

If you get served with a summons and complaint, hire an attorney to file an answer on your behalf. If your ex-husband made you the beneficiary before his mental issues and never bothered to change it, that's not your fault. Regards,
