Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Hi I was living with my fiance for 5 years. He just died and his family wants me to move out of the house they are not giving me time to reccover emocionally and financially. They are harrassing me and they wants my furniture. I have no place to go I cant eat and sleep properly. They went to the house to searsh for doccuments when I was not home for a few times and they also changed the locks of the doors with my animals inside of the house.

If you have no ownership interest you likely need to move. If they are entitled to the house legally than they can evict you. Did you pay any rental? if not they may need to file an ejectment action. You are there by virtue of your prior relationship but you would also be responsible for rental. I would consider changing the locks back so you can enter. I would consider getting out of there as it is not healthy. Did you pay any expenses associated with the house? any mortgage payments? joint bank account? you need to speak with a probate attorney to preserve your rights.
Unfortunately I tend to agree with some of the other comments the lawyer made above me. However, I would suggest you to contact a knowledgeable attorney to discuss your rights in this matter because they're not so clear from your question I've been practicing in Florida for 30 years and had a case just similar years recently come up and it was much different once I talk to the client about what their rights were and how to deal with and the other parties then they thought legally. At this point it sounds like everybody's going through a state of grief and just disorientation which does not lead to any type of good results without some legal input usually. If you don't know anybody you can feel free to call me tomorrow on my cell phone at 561-502-1297 to further discuss this tragic situation.
Sincerely,
