Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I think I have been named as a beneficiary in my friend's will. She passed away Aug. 26,2009 and we had the funeral on Sept. 12, 2009. I know she had an attorney and her will went to probate. Is there a time limit that I would be notified?

The will is available at the court house and you can see if you are a beneficiary.
