What is Dominica W.I. law for the entitlement of property upon the death of a parent. How to go about placing the properties in your name when parent has died???

It depends on the property and how it is titled, but generally, you have to go through the probate process and obtain the necessary documents. Probate allows for the payment of creditors and the distribution of the estate to the appropriate beneficiaries or heirs. Then, you can contact the appropriate entities to change title to the different assets.

In certain cases, all you have to do is show a death certificate to get title changed. Again, it depends on the situation and the particular property.
