Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Signing documents for spouse

My husband was in a car accident and injured his hand. He'll be unable to use his left hand for some time now. I'm wondering do I have the right to sign documents for him or do I need to get some legal forms filled out showing I have permission to act on his behalf. Thanks.

Re: Signing documents for spouse

You can sign documents for him with his express permission. That is sometimes accomplished with a power of attorney. It is also perfectly fine for him to sign as best as he can or even with his left hand while his right hand recovers.
