Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Wills

Can all parties mentioned in a will

receive a complete copy of the will they were mentioned in? Are wills a matter of public record? Where can they be attained? How soon after death is a will required to be probated?

Re: Wills

The executor named in the will should provide each beneficiary with a copy of the will. The will should be probated (filed with the court) any time after the person dies. There is not really a specified time for filing under Tennessee law. But once it is filed, it becomes a public record and copies can be obtained.
