Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I have been employed at my job over 8.5 years and lately I have been in and out the hospital. I was taken by ambulance from work and also have a workers comp case opened. Ive called out a few times when my back went out due to hurting me back and I was out of work with a doctors note due to health issues and they threatened to fire me stating that it didnt matter if i had a note or not. I live in Kissimmee, Fl and I am unsure of what will happen because in ny its totally different from here.

You need to speak to an attorney. Threatening to fire you is in violation of the statutory w/c scheme. Seek some advice, you should get a no charge consultation.
