Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
I was hurt on the job. After getting hurt on my job I was placed on Workmans comp. I was full time when I was working. 7/5/16 After seeing a doctor for my injuries he placed me on light duty. I was told to come back to see my doctor 8/2/16. After giving my restrictions from my doctor to my employer, I was placed on a Part-time temporary light duty job 7/7/16. Working as a Dining Service Assistant. 8:30a.m. to 2p.m. until I can return to work full duty 8/3/16. However after the first week of light duty I was told on a Friday, by my employer that they could no longer accommodate my light duty restrictions 7/15/16 4:11pm. I left work at 1:00pm. A hour early on Fridays for all staff. I received benefit from my employer for that week. Workman comp did not pay me while I was working. I contacted my workman comp adjuster and I told her what was told to me by my employer 7/18/16. On 7/21/16 I received a workman comp check for 16.5 he's $11.22 per hour check for $133.50. And received another 7/21/16 for $6.13 that's the last time I heard from my employer or received a check. I call no response. OK 8/2/16 I go to my scheduled doctors appointment and my doctor tells me that I'm cleared of all restrictions and I can return to full duty.8/3/16 I return to my employer and provided the documents stating I was clear of all restrictions. However my employer tells me that they will need to contact workman comp because my case is still open, and told me they will call me when they do. So I was sent home. I called my adjuster still no answer. I spoke to my workman comp nurse she told me that I was OK and I should be able to return. I called my employer no answer so I left a message. Even though I'm cleared to go back to work as my documents show, but my employer says I can't work until she contacts workman comp. On 8/5/2016 I will be 2weeks behind on my rent. What do I do?

You need to find a worker's compensation attorney. Being returned to full duty means you likely wont get by w/c even if the employer does not give you your job back. You can seek an advance from the w/c carrier. best to do that with an attorney.
