Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
Few months ago movie director hired me to do concept designs for short film. We agreed that I will be payed 900$, I have whole email conversation - both on Upwork and Gmail, but we never signed any contact.
After I finished job my designs were used for Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns, but I was never paid.
I live in Europe, my client is from USA, he lives in Orlando, Florida.
I would like to know:
-Can I take any legal actions so I can get my money, or can I at least sue them because they've used my art without a perdition???

You likely have a claim for the contract. The emails etc would need to be reviewed. without an attorney's fee provision in a contract, you are not likely going to find an attorney willing to handle the claim as the sums due don't justify it. You would need to file a small claims action. You would need to be present in Orlando for the mediation and trial and even for a deposition.
This is not a workers compensation but a wage hour type claim. Contact a lawyer in Orlando, Florida. They may be able to collect attorney's fees.
