taxation of workmans comp benefits

I was out of work about 9 months and received wc benefits. do i need to pay federal taxes on this money? How do I get a statement of the total benefits I received? Thank you

In my experience, workers' compensation benefits are not normally taxable. However, you should consult an accountant or tax expert (whomever may do your taxes, H&R Block, tax attorney) to make sure about the same.
