I recieved a default judgement due to a officer not serving me with proper court papers!

You didn't say when the default was entered. The longer you wait, the harder it is to vacate the judgment. So, you need to act immediately. Depending on the size of the judgment, you should consult an attorney immediately. Otherwise, you need to do your own research and file the appropriate paperwork. In any event, this matter is serious and time is not on your side.
