Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Georgia
I meet the girl online and got to like her. I found out she had multi personality disorder and I was ok with that. We Text, Voice and Video chatted back and forth. about a month ago, I found out she is married to a abusive husband and she wanted to get out because of the abuse. She wanted to Travel to new york to her Parents and was going to pay for a friend from New York to fly out and Take the Train back with her to New York. The Friend could not do it cause she was busy. I offered that I would fly out there and take the train with her to new work and fly back at my own cost. She said that since she was going to pay for someone anyway, we would pay for mine. I told her no, that I would pay for them and before I knew it, she had bought them. Now the Husband has found out about it and is trying to get me to pay for the fees that he thinks I made her make. If he takes this to court, do you think I have a chance in protecting my right to help a friend in need? How should I Handle it?

I hope you are not fooling yourself that you are "helping a friend in need." "Friends" don't meet online while one of them is married, and plan trips together. They are both cheaters. You need to remove yourself from the situation entirely, cease communicating with either of them immediately and permanently, and contact a lawyer if you do get sued.
