Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia
IRS Check
A bank cashed my income tax check that was endorsed by the payees but stolen and cased by another party without indorsement. Now the bank is claiming they are protected by a bearer bond and do not have to give me the funds.

Re: IRS Check
Speak with an attorney about this. There are specific rules about when a bank can cash a check. It is fairly technical and you posted question is a little unclear.
