Do I need insurance for a mail order business and what is my liability if I'm selling an all-natural appetite suppressant?

Re: New Business
In addition, there is liability of the company, if you have incorporated, and your personal liability. If you have not incorporated (formed an LLC or corporation), then you are personally responsible for all debts and judgments relating to the business. If you incorporate, it may lower your need for insurance coverage.

Re: New Business
Whether or not you need insurance is rarely a legal question. It almost always is good business sense. Your potential liability for whatever is a list longer than can be listed here. The short version is that you are liable for your actions, and possibly liable for the product.
