Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Getting my car back
In the state of Georgia, Is legal for a auto dealer to accept a trade in without a pink slip. My teenage son traded in the car we let him use after the car broke down. The dealer accepted our car as down payment on another car without me or my wife's signature. I would like to know if it was legal for the dealer to accept the car and can i get the car back.

Re: Getting my car back
The issue is whose name is on the title? If your son's name isn't on the title, he shouldn't have been permitted to trade it. You should get the car back.
