Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Family banned from public business/retail store
My grandmother, my mother and I were recently banned from the Pottery Barn and Williams and Sonoma Outlet stores for suspected reselling. We are not resellers and use our purchases for our large family. Can a business ban us from making purchases from their store because they do not like what they suspect we are doing with our purchases? We enjoy their product and purchase a lot of it...you would think they would praise our loyalty instead of chastising us for excessiveness.
Thank you

Re: Family banned from public business/retail store
A person can generally be asked to leave a private business for any or no reason, other than very limited discriminatory reasons not raised in your post. There is no general right to force a business (or person) to do business with you.
