Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

LLC Question

I've created an LLC which will be an internet lead generating website for consumers wanting to purchase medical equipment. I am the managing memeber.

My full time job is a medical equipment saleswoman for a large equipment supplier. I will be purchasing leads from my LLC. I have contracts between me as an individual and my LLC.

My hope is to get the LLC lead generator up and running to be sold one day.

Does anyone see any conflict with this?

Re: LLC Question

The potential conflict might arise at your job with the large supplier if your LLC is a competitor or with your LLC if the operating agreement requires certain number of hours or no competition. Absent some contractual obligation, you are free to compete, as long as you don't utilize confidential info or trade secrets. You would need to speak with a local attorney to get a comprehensive answer because we dont have all the facts.
