Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
A single LLC with several DBAs
I have recently submitted my paperwork to form an LLC. I'm
going to operate several DBAs under this LLC. Does each DBA
need a federal & state tax id number, business licenses, seller's
permit, etc. or will this information from the LLC cover the DBA?
Is there any additional information I have to file for the DBA's?

I believe one tax id number is all you need. However, to be safe, consult with your tax adviser.
Re: A single LLC with several DBAs
Generally, no. A dba is simply a trade name and not a separate entity that would need its own tax id, license, etc. However, the LLC is required to register each trade name with the superior courts of the counties where the names are being used. Note that trade name records are not maintained by the Secretary of State. In addition, it is vital that the LLC have an operating agreement (or some similarly titled internal operational agreement) that sets out all the internal rules of the LLC - ownership, management, etc.
