Can you sue a business if they dont have cameras in the parking lot and you get robbed?

Yes, anyone can sue for anything. You will likely have to pay their fees when the case is dismissed, unless they have some contractual duty to you (or the business was involved in the robbery).
In most circumstances, no (absent very unusual facts). You can sue the robber.
You can sue the owner of the business if they had numerous robberies in the parking lot, but failed to provide some security (guards, camera, etc.). The area of the law is premises liability.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorneys. You would have to prove (a) they had a duty to install cameras; (b) not installing cameras caused injury to you; and (c) they had a duty to you. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
