Can a Corporation be a trust and how do you start it?

No, a corporation cannot "be" a trust. A trust is a document establishing the terms of the trust, e.g., establishing what property is to be held, how it is to be managed, how it is to be distributed, etc. However, a corporation can be a party to a trust, e.g., as the Trustor (the entity creating the trust), the Trustee (the entity charged with carrying out the terms of the trust) or Beneficiary (the entity that is to receive the proceeds of the trust. In other words, no, a corporation is not a trust. However, a corporation may act as a trustee � a trust company.
