Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
I gave power of attorney to a car dealer to sell my car. It has been about 5 years and he seems to be giving me the runaround when it comes to paying for the car. I do not know if he sold it or is just keeping it and not paying me. Can I have a lawyer handle a lawsuit against him? Or can I report it stolen since I believe he retitled the car in the dealer's name?

You'll need a lawyer if you want to get to the bottom of what happened, but I can't imagine it was a good idea to ever give the dealer a POA, or to let it go 5 years. As far as reporting it stolen, no one here can possibly tell you to report it and there are serious consequences for false accusations.
