Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

In Georgia can they audio tape without informed consent? The audio is attached to a video camera. This audio taping not only is done of employees, but the general public who are not giving informed consent. Is this not a liability to the company and a risk of criminal charges. They are also doing it to only one department and that department deals with the public at large. If a third party listens to the tape is their a legal issue. I also wonder since this is a government facility can the public get a FOIA request and the audio made public.

Your post is not clear at all. "They?" Are you trying to simply ask whether an employer/business can audio and video record its property? The answer is yes, with the exception of bathrooms, dressing rooms and similar areas. Security cameras are everywhere. Have you ever signed a consent form in a business that has them?
