Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
Accepting partial payment
I have done some tile work for a builder and I am having trouble getting payment from him. He has given me a check for a partial payment on one job, if we deposit this check would that be agreement that he was paid in full? What are my options to get payment?

No. You could have an attorney send a demand letter and, if that doesnt work, sue them.
