Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Titlemax issued a warrant after paying over the loan amount.

My question is.

Can titlemax convinced me that the loan I got was like a car payment, re-pay in full. I have been paying for over 2 years and they have been telling me that's just the interest. I have no money, a child, and an eviction notice and Titlemax is asking me to pay it in full or they will issue a warrant for my arrest because I've been late for over 12 days.

Can I get any help on this to cancel the account with them?

From the facts you have provided, I do not see how they can issue a warrant for failing to pay the car note in full. However, no attorney can provide you with complete information without first seeing all paperwork. I recommend you go to a consumer rights lawyer. If you have disclosed all the relevant facts, they may have violated one or more consumer laws. Check the listing on this site (lawguru) for consumer lawyers who can immediately assist you and call or e-mail them directly. Otherwise, look on lawyers.com or naca.com (National Association of Consumer Advocates). You should look to these sources immediately to quell your own anxiety and to determine if you may have your own claims against the creditor.

I am also licensed in Georgia, but I am not available at this point to provide the immediate advice you need from a detailed consultation.

You fail to state what your contract provides. That controls what you must pay. Read the documents. While they cannot request an arrest warrant for not paying, perhaps they have asked for the vehicle after calling a default (since presumably they have the title). You should focus on your actual written agreement - that is what a lawyer would ask for to review.
