Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
My wife just leased a car. They had her go back saying they had the price wrong and demanded she sign a new document on the spot for an additioanl $8000 in financing on the lease. Is that binding or do we have time to back out?

If she did something really foolish and signed the new documentr instead of seeing a lawyer, she just allowed herself to be legally ripped off and she is stuck.
If she does the smart thing, and calls a lawyer and shows the original contract, a lawyer can determine what rights she has and possibly help. No one here has read the papers to assess that.
So hopefully she didn't do the one thing that isn't fixable - signing something else.
Your wife has been the victim of a "yo-yo" lease. She has rights, but it would take much more space than provided to list them all. She may have rights under the federal Consumer Leasing Act if the vehicle's gross cap cost is $50K or less. This case really demands the attention of a consumer lawyer.
