Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Bankruptcy

I have asked this question 2 days ago but no one called me. PLease help me. I am in debt for about45,0000credit cards and meds. I only have disability income plus about 200 more a month for a small job. I have about 15,000 equity in my condo--will I lose it if I file bancruptcy? Until I can get well and get a good job, I cannot pay any of these creditors.. And I just got letters from 2 lawyers and I am so scared. PLease help me.

Re: Bankruptcy

You need to call a local bankruptcy lawyer, and not expect one to contact you from a post here (in fact, posting your contact info is prohibited). Your questions can only be answered by a lawyer who reviews all the facts of your situation.

Re: Bankruptcy

I previously answered you (as did others), although you did not contact my office. (You don't get phone calls viqa Law Guru. You must call the people who answer you if you wish).

I can't answer your condo question without a full look at your finances, but you might get to keep it. To know, we need you to do what I suggested before. If you're anywhere near metro Atlanta, please download our free worksheet at www.glenashman.com and then call us for an appointment to review it. In the meantime, do not talk to anyone who calls you. It is very possible we can help you and the worksheet is necessary to answer that.
