Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
department store card
In Georgia, is a department store card such as a Parisian card considered an ''open account'' thus mandating that the 4 year SOL applies. Last, is a ''revolving account'' in Georgia the same as an ''open account'' for purposes of the SOL? Are there any GA cases that lays out the answers to my questions? Many thanks.

Re: department store card
Why are you thinking Georgia law applies? It likely does not. Most credit cards are from other states (read your credit card agreeement along with all revisions ever mailed to you, often as an insert to your bill). The time period is often far longer than Georgia's.
