wont fix credit

I have a statement from a suit filed against longbeach credit from a car loan.we dropped our suit and they said ''in writing'' we will no longer be responsible for the balance 13000.they still have not removed it or zeroed out the balance.Im tired of writing and calling.this is the only bad thing on credit report but it is killing my fico?????HELP

Have you written the credit bureau to challenge the report? This should be your next step. If the matter isn't cleared up in the statutory period, you may have a claim.
