Yes. once a creditor obtains a judgment, the company can seek to satisfy that judgment by garnishing your wages and placing a lien on your home. If you are concerned, you may want to discuss the matter with a small or medium sized bankruptcy firm.

Yes, once you are sued and lose a creditor can garnishee your wages (and bank accounts), and the judgment is a lien on your home.
It is smart to act before things get to that point. Generally, the main way to prevent creditors from acting is some form of bankruptcy, if you qualify. Feel free to contact my office about this possible option.
