Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
affray
i was arrested for simple battery, domestic violence, but the charges were dropped and i was convicted of misdemeanor affray. the atf has me listed as domestic violence and said i cannot possess a firearm, i have the court papers proving my conviction, what if anything can i do and am i eligible for firearms?

There really is not enough information in this post to allow for a coherent response. I believe that you may be able to apply for a change in your criminal record; such applications generally must be handled through the original arresting agency. The process is a bit expensive and slow.
